Torre de ses Portes is one of the typical Ibiza watchtowers that once served to monitor the coast and warn of pirate attacks. It stands on the southern edge of Playa d'en Bossa towards the salt flats and marks a scenic transition between the beach area and the natural surroundings.
Today, the tower is mainly a destination for anyone who wants to combine history, sea views and a short walk away from the main beaches. There is no museum or exhibition on site, just a simple historic structure in an open setting – interesting בעיקר because of its location and the views of the coast.
