DC-10 is the opposite of glamour: an unassuming building near the airport and the salt flats, deliberately raw and underground. The club became famous above all for the Monday party Circoloco, which grew out of an after-hours tradition and is still regarded as one of the world’s most important house and techno parties.
Here, the music matters, not the staging. There’s no elaborate frills, just an indoor and outdoor area, long sets and a crowd that comes to dance all night. If you want to experience Ibiza away from the big spectacle, DC-10 is the place to be – laid-back, sweat-inducing and uncompromisingly focused on the sound.
