The beach
S’Illa des Bosc is located on Ibiza’s north coast in the Benirràs area, not far from San Miguel. This small, unspoiled bay is shaped by rocks and Mediterranean vegetation and feels much quieter than the better-known beaches in the area. It is especially suitable for visitors looking for a more secluded coastal landscape.
The beach is not a classic long sandy beach, but a small rocky bay with a partly coarse surface. The water is usually clear and typically gets deep relatively quickly, which makes the spot especially interesting for experienced swimmers. When the sea is calm, the setting with its rock formations and views out to the open sea is particularly appealing.
The atmosphere is natural and understated; infrastructure is limited here or not available at all. Families with small children usually find such bays less comfortable than larger beaches with services and a shallow entry. For those seeking peace and quiet, snorkelers, and beachgoers who prefer a simple, scenic setting, S’Illa des Bosc is a good choice.
