The beach
Cala Pada is located on the east coast of Ibiza, south of Santa Eulalia, in a comparatively quiet coastal area with hotels and residential complexes nearby. The bay is rather small to medium-sized and feels noticeably more relaxed than many of the island's larger beaches thanks to its sheltered location. The beach is well connected by sea; in summer, boats also run from here towards Santa Eulalia and Es Canar.
The beach consists mainly of fine to mixed sandy ground, with some areas where pebbles or stones can also be found along the shore. The water is usually clear, slopes down relatively gently, and is therefore well suited for swimming. In calm weather, the bay is pleasant for swimming, while in wind or higher surf conditions can vary somewhat depending on the time of day.
Cala Pada has a rather family-friendly, laid-back atmosphere and is geared more toward relaxed beach days than parties. The surrounding area usually offers the main tourist facilities, so the beach is well suited for a comfortable day by the water. It is especially a good fit for visitors looking for an easily accessible cove with a calm character and moderate activity.
