The Ibiza season 2026: start dates and key details
When does the Ibiza season 2026 begin?
The island awakens as early as 25 March, when the Ibiza Rocks Hotel opens its doors. However, the Pool Club only starts on 25 April with Ibiza Anthems, followed by R&B Affair on 26 April. This is how Ibiza gradually prepares for the big influx.
The first musical kickoff comes from Sven Väth on 2 April at Las Dalias and at Akasha. Café Mambo follows on 17 April with its Season Opening Party from 18:30 to 03:00. Then things get serious: from 24 April onwards, the big players open almost at the same time. Pacha starts on Friday, Hï Ibiza on Saturday, 25 April, and both Ushuaïa and UNVRS on Sunday, 26 April.
Duration of the 2026 club season
Today we're talking about a season that runs from April to October. This extension has become established – in the past it was typically only from May to September. Year-round flight connections make this longer party season possible.
The numbers speak for themselves: Carl Cox takes over UNVRS on Sundays from 21 June to 4 October with 16 dates. David Guetta presents “Galactic Circus” on Fridays from 19 June to 2 October. Jamie Jones brings “Paradise: Starship Eden” on Wednesdays from 10 June to 7 October with 18 shows.

Pete Tong MBE hosts the 17th edition of the summit together with Jaguar and Katie Knight. Since 2007, IMS has been driving sustainable growth in the global music scene.
The IMS Grand Finale in Dalt Vila on Friday, 24 April is considered the official kick-off to the summer season. For seven hours, from 17:00 to 24:00, the dance music community celebrates at Baluarte de Santa Lucía – a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 2,500 years of history. After three days of discussions and talks, the industry finally comes together to dance.
AlphaTheta presents the event, where the global community comes together on the same dance floor. IMS delegates can get tickets for 50 €, General Admission is available via Weeztix. The venue is only 15 minutes by car from Ibiza Town.
Especially exciting: On 24 April, Amnesia is hosting a special Pyramid Event during IMS, before the official Opening Party follows on 9 May. IMS acts as the perfect catalyst for the season start.

The key DJ residencies and party concepts of 2026
Residencies shape an Ibiza season more than individual opening parties. They build their own communities over weeks and set the standards for what is possible on the dance floor. 2026 brings some of the most ambitious residency concepts Ibiza has ever seen.
Carl Cox at UNVRS Ibiza
Carl Cox takes control at UNVRS every Sunday from 21 June to 4 October 2026. The residency starts at 23:30 and runs until closing. Especially exciting: Cox is planning all-night-long sets for both the opening and closing of his residency.
26 July becomes a house music celebration with a historic B2B between Carl Cox and David Guetta. On 13 September, a disco-dedicated night follows, where Cox shares the decks with legendary producer Louie Vega.
Other guests during the season include Chris Stussy, Dennis Cruz, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber and The Martinez Brothers. Also CamelPhat, Chelina Manuhutu, Honey Dijon, Loco Dice, Luciano, Miss Monique, Richie Hawtin, Sasha B2B John Digweed and Skepta.
Swedish House Mafia at Ushuaïa
The Scandinavian trio returns with their longest Ibiza residency ever: 12 Sundays from 28 June to 13 September 2026. After successful years and an explosive six-week residency in 2024, this return marks another highlight.
Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso have delivered hits such as “One” with Pharrell, “Save The World” and “Don’t You Worry Child” since 2008. Their 2022 album “Paradise Again” showcased their artistic vision. The shows run from 17:00 to 23:00.
Calvin Harris Residency
Calvin Harris is making history: as the first DJ, he is leading two simultaneous residencies in the same venue. The Friday series starts on 29 May and ends on 2 October, while the Tuesday shows run from 7 July to 25 August. A total of 27 parties.
His Tuesday residency was successfully introduced last year. Last year's line-up featured Fatboy Slim, Patrick Topping, Romy, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, MK and Dom Dolla. The GRAMMY winner with over 56 billion combined streams has shaped modern dance music with hits like “Blessings”, “We Found Love” and “One Kiss”.
New residencies and format changes
Martin Garrix and Tomorrowland with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike complete the Ushuaïa programme. The 2026 residency landscape shows a clear trend: longer runs, more exclusive formats and greater creative control for the artists. Special B2B collaborations are becoming the standard for high-end residencies.
Lineup highlights and confirmed DJs for the Opening Parties
The 2026 Opening Party line-ups show an exciting development: clubs are focusing on musical diversity rather than monotonous events. Different electronic styles meet in one night and create unique listening experiences.
Top DJs at the Opening Weekends
Hï Ibiza spreads its acts cleverly across three rooms on 25 April. In the Theatre, Dan Shake delivers joyful grooves and Delilah brings twitchy tech. DJ Gigola offers genre-fluid meditations, while East End Dubs delivers minimal tech, dub and garage.
Ewan McVicar guarantees high-octane dancefloor energy. Indira Paganotto returns with her signature Psytechno sound – an absolute must for all techno fans. Joseph Capriati presents house and techno at his usual top level.
Melon Bomb serves floor-filling house grooves, Natalia Roth minimal house and techno. OMRI. contributes alternative electronic sounds, Patrick Mason non-stop energy. Rossi. returns after an incredible 2025 with minimal tech and house.
The Martinez Brothers represent NYC house music, while techno maximalist VTSS rounds out the programme. Grime originator Skepta completes this versatile line-up.
Amnesia opts for a separation of styles by room. The Terrace focuses on groove and connection: Caal, Ceri, Enzo Siragusa, Fleur Shore, Joseph Capriati, Josh Baker, Luke Dean, Mar-T, Marco Faraone, Max Dean and Seth Troxler create the perfect atmosphere.
The Main Room takes on the intensity: 999999999, Amelie Lens, Alan Fitzpatrick, Fatima Hajji, Luca Donzelli and Luxi Villar. This no-compromise techno voyage once again turns the dance floor into a ritual.
Special acts and surprise guests
RESISTANCE Ibiza brings special highlights to Amnesia between 22 July and 16 September. Adam Beyer headlines all nine dates. ARTBAT, Boris Brejcha and Eric Prydz each play three co-headlining sets.
Particularly noteworthy: Boris Brejcha’s three appearances are his only Ibiza performances of the year – anyone who wants to see him has to go to Amnesia.
The Pyramid Special Event during IMS on 24 April presents an exceptional combination. On the Terraza, Sven Väth, Luciano, Saoirse and Caal will perform. The Main Room hosts Deborah de Luca, Shlømo, Clara Cuvé and Katnada.
Claptone takes over every Saturday at Chinois with his Masquerade party from 16 May. MEDUZA and James Hype return to Hï Ibiza for Our House on Tuesdays – from 27 May to 30 September. The format combines stadium energy with club culture.
More residency updates
The season is developing dynamically. Eastenderz is establishing itself on Tuesdays at Hï Ibiza from 2 June to 6 October. Francis Mercier presents Solèy on Mondays at Hï from 1 June to 5 October. Dom Dolla takes over on Fridays from 5 June to 28 August.
MËSTIZA and Indira Paganotto share Sundays at Hï Ibiza from 31 May to 4 October. This residency is one of the few female-led weekly shows on the island – definitely worth a visit.

Amnesia is similar: 70 Euro for the Pyramid Special and 80 Euro for the official Opening Party on 9 May. Glitterbox follows at 60 Euro.

Get your tickets – here’s how to do it right
Buy your tickets in advance through official platforms – it’s cheaper than at the box office. Hï Ibiza often starts with early-bird prices, followed by early-entry tickets (admission before 01:00 Uhr) and standard tickets. Prices rise with each phase.
Demand for the big Opening Dates is extremely high. If you book early, you’ll save money and avoid sold-out events. Many venues update their ticket links as soon as the lineups are confirmed.
Opening hours at a glance
Most clubs follow the classic night-time pattern: Pacha, Hï Ibiza and Amnesia open at 23:00 Uhr and close at 06:00 or 06:30 Uhr. UNVRS starts at 23:30 Uhr, as does Chinois.
As an open-air venue, Ushuaïa breaks this pattern: 13:00 to 23:00 Uhr. O Beach follows this daytime rhythm. Café Mambo opens as early as 18:30 Uhr.
Hï Ibiza opens daily during the high season, and in the shoulder months depending on the party calendar. Entry is from 18 years – no exceptions.
New features and changes for the 2026 season
Ibiza’s club scene continues to evolve. Several established party series are changing venues, creating new experiences for you.
Venue changes for well-known parties
After successful years at Hï Ibiza, Glitterbox is leaving and moving to Amnesia on Fridays. The residency runs from 15 May to 9 October over 22 weeks. This move brings the disco- and house-focused party to a venue with a longer history and a different acoustic signature. At the same time, there are rumours that Joseph Capriati will also continue his residency at Amnesia.
Defected is moving from Pacha to the nearby club Chinois. The Thursday residency starts there on 7 May and establishes the Marina venue as the new home for the legendary house series. These shifts show how the island’s club scene is continuously reconfiguring itself.
New club concepts and formats
Anyma presents a completely new residency concept called AEDEN at UNVRS from June. The series runs on Tuesdays from June to September and follows a completely sold-out 2025 season. AEDEN was created specifically for UNVRS, the world’s first hyperclub. The venue fuses arena dimensions with the emotional intensity of traditional clubs.
The residency treats the venue itself as part of the performance. Architecture, visual design, lighting and sound evolve together. Instead of a standard DJ set, a fully integrated audiovisual narrative is created.
Eric Prydz returns to Amnesia after more than ten years, while RESISTANCE takes over a nine-week series. The Swedish producer shares the dates with his compatriot Adam Beyer as weekly resident.
50th anniversary of Amnesia
Amnesia is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026 – half a century of underground clubbing since 1976. Under the motto „Ibiza Changed. We Didn’t.“ the anniversary year kicks off on 9 May with the big Opening Party. The club underlines its focus on space, music and people as constant values.
The anniversary year includes anniversary events, special editions and cultural collaborations throughout the season. As early as 24 April, a special Pyramid edition with Luciano and Sven Väth as headliners will take place during IMS. Amnesia positions itself as a living legacy that honours the past, lives the present and moves into the future.
Conclusion
We’ve put together all the key dates for Ibiza Opening 2026 here. The season really gets going at the end of April – Swedish House Mafia return with their longest residency, Calvin Harris plays two nights a week, and Amnesia celebrates 50 years of club history.
