Playa de Figueretes is the city beach in the eponymous Figueretas district (Ses Figueretes) and lies south of the historic old town of Ibiza-Stadt. It is one of the island's most easily accessible beaches and is especially popular because of its location: you can get to the water, the promenade and also restaurants, hotels and the centre very quickly.
The beach consists of several coves with fine to medium-grained sand and a relaxed urban atmosphere. If you're not looking for a secluded natural beach, but rather an uncomplicated place for swimming, strolling and short breaks between sightseeing and dinner, this is the right spot. The combination of beach, waterfront promenade and the short walk to Dalt Vila is particularly practical.
