The beach
Sol d’en Serra is located on the east coast of Ibiza, south of Cala Llonga, in a sheltered bay near Santa Eulalia. The beach is small and surrounded by steep hills, giving it a rather secluded feel. It is one of the quieter stretches of coastline on the island and is not designed for large crowds.
The ground is made up mostly of pebbles and coarse sand, with rocks in some places as well. The water is usually clear and reflects the east coast’s typical sheltered bay setting with relatively protected conditions. Depending on the section, entering the sea can be a little uneven due to the location.
The atmosphere is relaxed and somewhat exclusive, not least because of the well-known Amante Beach Club above the bay. Sol d’en Serra is especially suited to visitors looking for a peaceful setting and a striking natural bay. For small children or long traditional beach days, the beach is only partially ideal.
