The beach
Aigües Blanques is on Ibiza’s east coast, near Sant Carles, and can be reached via a side road followed by a footpath. The beach lies beneath light clay and rock cliffs, giving it a much more secluded feel than many other swimming spots on the island. In season, it is especially popular with guests who enjoy natural surroundings.
The beach consists of fine to medium sand, and the sea here is open and can often be a little rougher due to its exposed location. When conditions are right, the water is clear, pleasantly warm in summer and well suited for swimming; on windy days, however, waves and currents can occur. At the northern end, Aigües Blanques is also used by nudist bathers.
The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried, with a natural feel. Families will find plenty of space here, but should keep the open water conditions and the sometimes more difficult access in mind. For beachgoers looking for a less developed beach with wide views and a bit more peace, Aigües Blanques is a great choice.
