The harbor of Ibiza Town and the adjacent La Marina district lie directly on the water below the historic old town of Dalt Vila. The area was once strongly shaped by fishing and shipping; today, harbor atmosphere meets small boutiques, bars, restaurants, and a lively waterfront promenade here.
Visitors come here mainly for the mix of history and everyday life: during the day to stroll around and watch the boats, in the evening for a walk by the water or a drink overlooking the harbor. Depending on the season and day of the week, a small hippie market also takes place in La Marina, recalling Ibiza’s alternative past.
